Gene mapping upload progress counter freezes at 0 until upload finishes

In the "Genomes" configuration item, after providing an address for the gene mapping, the progress counter is stuck at 0 and then skips to 100 when the upload of the gene mapping is complete. It may be more convenient to change the behavior of the progress status to display "Ongoing" or "Uploading" when not finished, and "Ready" when finished.
